Drawer 3 is the top drawer on the right and its contents are not quite as exciting as the other drawers, however, it makes up for this by providing plenty of useful office supplies.
Nevertheless, the drawer contains a few interesting tidbits.
Little known fact, George Washington was not the very first President of the United States
Curious refrigerator magnet.
Hammer for a tiny Thor?
An idea of the scale of the hammer
To do list that will never get finished...
Drawer 4 promises to be full of interesting items, while also introducing another candidate for ownership of the desk.

From the desk of Mr. Paul Griebner, Drawer 2
If you were sitting at my desk, drawer 2 would be at the top left.
As you open it, you are confronted with a mysterious envelope.
And inside the envelope is this...
Which I'm now using to train with at the gym
Minus the haircut
There's a price marker...
Marked at a price that has me scratching my head a little.
It's clear someone was a sports fan
(Sidenote: This is a clipping from Buffalo's forgotten second newspaper, former rival to the Buffalo News)
And then there's a few items that point toward what sort of career he may have held
And, of course, here's a preview of drawer 3

From the desk of Mr. Paul Griebner, Drawer 1
So here is the center drawer of the desk, this time a bit more organised.
We find the usual desk drawer stuff: menthol candies, brass fasteners, and clippings of military rankings.
There's also the two seemingly identical rulers, one from a funeral home and the other from a pharmaceutical company.
The other thing to point out here is the introduction of James, whose name we find on the cover of Life magazine. Could this desk have belonged to him instead?

From the desk of Mr. Paul Griebner
This is my desk at work.
I'm showing you this because it is a part of a new segment to be found here on my blog.
The desk you see above was found one day on the side of the road amidst piles of trash, which it only recently stopped smelling like.
Inside the drawers of this abandoned, trash-smelling, yet quite sturdy relic are the remnants of a stranger's life.
Basically, this segment will be something of a documentary of the pieces of this man's life I happened to cross paths with.
